A lovely double workout today. First up, track, wherein we did 6x600 with 200 recoveries. The 600's were split into 200 at 5k pace, 200 at 10k pace, 200 at 5k pace, which actually made them tolerable.

And then, a wonderful birthday ride with a good friend. There were three of us, plus kiddos in the trailers. We had a nice ride in the beautiful fall/indian summer weather, followed by playground time/lunch/birthday mimosas to celebrate!
Now I'm just trying to get motivated to go shower two workouts worth of stank off of me. P.U...

I'm back in the world of cellphones and loving my new phone...very very cool.
And for one more disjointed thought...almost scheduled my surgery for next (!) Thursday but realized just in time that I'm supposed to work Friday night and the following Monday, so that's probably not the best idea. Hopefully I can get in on the 16th, or it may be November...he's not doing surgery on the 23rd, and I really don't want to do it on the 30th and screw up Halloween...
