Finally some progress!

I had a MW appointment this morning, and had her check me. I'm 3-4 cm, and 40-50% effaced. So that means that all these contractions are at least being productive. If she had checked me and there had been no progress, I think I was going to cry!

Oh, she also stripped my membranes, and gave me some herbs to take. So hopefully I'll be holding my baby girl by the weekend!

wow! that's good to hear, eh? i bet it 's comforting knowing that your body has been loosening up all this time. it's like you are already in labor...just still able to eat, walk around and talk on the phone.
