Who Spotted During This Pregnancy?

Ok, just to recap, how many of you mama's had spotting during this pregnancy. I just figured this thread may help other mama's in the early due date clubs to know that we spotted and we are now days/weeks away from having our healthy babes.

I spotted two seperate times. Once at about 6ish weeks and once about 8-9 weeks. The second time the spotting was more and I lost all my symptoms.

I had full on bleeding.....and then spotting off and on for a couple weeks around 7 weeks. I spotted again around 26 weeks.

I spotted a little (bright red too - I cried ) right at 6 weeks, and then had on and off brownish/redish spotting my 11th week, when my 'morning' sickness started to go away. In hindsight, it was probably the placenta laying down and taking over.

I had an episode of unexplained bleeding near the end of the first trimester. Bright red blood and a small bit of tissue. No idea what caused it, but a check for the baby's heartbeat reassured me that everything was fine.

I was so scared, but I've learned since then that some spotting or bleeding during pregnancy is rather common.

Me! And it was actually the main factor as to why I haven't been very active in the DDC. I didn't want to bring anyone down, then felt weird bc everyone had formed friendships by the time I wasn't so worried anymore... live and learn, right?

It was full on chunky bleeding (hey, there's NO TMI when you are talking about this) U/S showed babe was fine. It slowed to a trickle, then BAM, bright red again. Slowed to brown/pink spotting, then a week later bright red and very watery. 2nd U/S showed babe, ovaries, placenta, cervix, everything fine. It would slow down and restart every week for about 6 weeks... I stopped going to the chiro (he was a quack) and didn't have any more bleeding the following week. Still have no clue as to why I was bleeding, but OB and i both think it could be related to scar tissue from IUD and retained placenta/placenta was ripped out with DD... and chiro could have been aggrivating it (like I said, he is a quack, I should have looked around more)

20 week U/S showed a healthy babe, right on time, everything else was healthy, too (placenta nice and high and everything)... U/S tech said he was really surprised at how many women do bleed at the end of first tri into beginning of 2nd tri-- he didn't believe it when he first started, but said that probably a third of the women he sees have had some unexplained bleeding.

Babe is kicking the crap out of me as I type-- I'll be 36 weeks on friday

I had spotting after my first pre-natal appointment, cause I had an internal exam. Then I didn't spot again until about 35 weeks, during another internal exams. It was still scary the first time even though I knew why it was happening.

I thought I should elaborate on the second time I spotted at 8 or 9 weeks.

I woke up at about 4 AM to go to the bathroom and noticed the bleeding. I was TERRIFIED!! I thought my worst nightmare was about to come true. I went and woke up DH and he came downstairs. Then the cramping started. My boobs didn't hurt anymore. I checked my temperature and it was back down. I freaked. I really freaked. I started crying hysterically. My DH phoned the hospital and asked if we should come in and told them what was going on. The nurse that answered the phone told him no, there is no point, that is sounded like a miscarriage and that I should put me feet up and try to relax:

We both sat on the couch holding each other grieving the loss of the baby that it took us over a year and half to conceive. I couldn't believe that it was happening. I was terrified, extremely angry and very, very sad.

The next day the bleeding slowed and then stopped. For about a week afterwards my symptoms started to build back up, my temperature went back up but I still continued to spot here and there.

I was UPing at the time and never did go to the doctor. I figured if I had miscarried, that I would let it take place naturally.

I never miscarried!! I am now about 3 and a half weeks away from giving birth to the baby we thought we had lost.:

Does it help any of the mamas to know that I've had four miscarriages and never spotted or anything until days and DAYS after knowing that I was going to miscarry? The main symptom was heavy cramping and even a pushing urge that felt like labor.

I spotted twice this pregnancy- from exercise induced hemorrhaging. Working out is great in pregnancy but you really need to be careful, apparently or it might irritate the cervix somehow.

I spotted almost all the way through this pregnancy, starting about 8 weeks, I think, and until week 30 or so! The 8 weeks spotting was darker brown and then the rest of the time it was light brown/orange in color and would show up on my underwear (not on toilet paper after wiping) every couple of days or so. Never seemed to be related to anything like exercise/yoga or stress (although I kept my stress levels low). So my midwife just told me not to worry. Which I finally stopped doing!!!

I spotted really frequently through 15wks. I spotted like a super light period (the exact days AF should've been here) at 4wks then again for a few days at a time at 6wks, 8wks, and 14wks-15wks. Turns out, it was from implantation and creating a placenta and it was just super slow to discharge.
