My daughter is ten months old and slept throughout the entire night up untill about 7 1/2 months old. She will sometimes wake me up twice a night and go right back to sleep, and sometimes she will wake me up continously through out the night, and every now and than she will be up for 2-5 hours straight. She usually only takes a half hour 45 minute nap during the day. Not only does she wake up, she wakes up screaming, and i make sure she does not need a diaper change, shes not hungry nothing. I dont know what to do for her we are both exahausted, help anybody please?!?

I don't have a specific recommendation except to say both my kids went through this phase at 10 months and most of the moms I know IRL also say their kids were up alot at around 10 months. It usually settles down by after their first birthday - I think it has to do with the huge developmental phase that they are about to go through (walking, talking, etc)...

Hopefully others have some practical suggestions...

Been there. Oh I feel for you.
I wish I had the solution for you...I really do.

Are you nursing her to sleep every time. Some people have success with creating other comforting techniques to lull her to sleep. But it takes time to do that...I did work on that when I was going through this. It helped us a little. I didn't night wean but just started creating other sleep associations and then nursed if they weren't working. Eventually my child suddenly started sleeping. I think it had more to do with her development than anything I really did.

Hang in there.

My DS is 14 months and still waking anywhere from 4-10 times each night. Thankfully he nurses for maybe a minute or two each time and goes right back to sleep. Are you still nursing her?

Been there and occasionally we're still there (DS is 15 mo). I'll bet she's teething. Lately though DS has been doing that because he's stuffed up (don't know if it's teething or allergies) so he breathes through his nose, gets dehydrated and wants to nurse all night long.
