normal to have contractions after taking birth formula?

I took some Gentle Birth formula last night and today I started to have contractions in my back? and around to the lower front, that is how my labor started in my last 2 births.

I am scared to take it, for one reason being that I dont want to have this baby at 36 weeks! I am about 36 weeks-36 weeks 2 days right now.

I've been taking it since right at 36 weeks (almost 39 now), and while the braxton hicks contractions have increased, I'm quite certain I've yet to have a "real" contraction. Mind, this is also my first so I suspect my body will take longer to "get the picture" than yours. I guess if you don't feel comfortable taking it yet, then don't!

So yeah. Basically, I'm no help.

I noticed that I got some contractions when I first started taking Gentle Birth at 35 weeks right after I'd take it, but they were really no different or more uncomfortable than the BH's I'd been getting for a while.

I don't know, but I was taking Polly Jeans Antenatal formula and I have been contracting like crazy. I did not take it today, and I am going to cut the dose in half!

I ran out of my gentle birth formula!!! I ordered more two days ago and hope to get it asap!!!

I started it at 34 1/2 weeks and only got braxton hicks. Somehow...since I've ran out the past few days, I'm having more cramping and contractions- but I plan to start taking it asap again.

Changed- you can get it on mountainmeadowherbs.com but it's a little late now if you're due soon. It's a five week formula and may not arrive at your house for a few days to a week.

Ladies- I am REALLY interested to see how this stuff helps with labor. This is my 2nd birth. Please, PLEASE, send me updates as you have your babies and let me know if you think it helped.
