I don't usually complain about the Marine Corps. I understand that deployments are par for the course. I can deal with that. This ridiculous class that's a 5 months PCS move just put me over the top. Being alone is the hardest for me, too. I told my dh that maybe I'll get a roommate just so I can have another adult to talk to every day. He'll be too far away to even come home on weekends.

I wondered about cd20 being your O day when I first looked at your chart when it had the earlier O day. I think it's a toss up between cd18 and cd20. That's fine, though. It's only a 2 day difference and either way you are safely post O now. Temping is only accurate to within 3 days of O because it can take a few days for the temp to reflect O. Now you'll know that, if AF seems to be a couple of days late, it's probably because you Oed a little later.

Thanks,
I am right there with you on the needing an adult to talk to!! I used to joke when people said my dc talked so well that it was because I had no one else to talk to but them since DH was never home!!

Glad that I am post O (even though DH still won't dtd unprotected). My LP still hasn't evened out since my first ppaf. It was 4 days the first ppaf, and then 12 ( i guess that's normal!!) Anyway, what I'm getting at is I won't really know if I'm late since I have only 2 charts to look at and they're not that great.

I'm not complaining really, I used to be a Marine and know they have to do their training, just sometimes it seems pointless to separate the family for things like your DH's school when they are going to be deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan.

I know what you're going through. If you need to talk, I'm here!!

I'd expect a 12 day lp at least from now on. When my cycles came back after ds2, I had one 9 day lp and then it went to my norm of 12 days. So far this time I've only had one ovulatory cycle and my lp was 10 days. If I ever O again, I'll expect my lp to be at least 10 days.

Had a weird temp rise. Praying it's a random thing and not a triphasic chart. (If it is, then it would be condom failure, not NFP failure.)

Actually, that would be a good reason to pay for ovusoft, to be able to track when we used a condom or not.

Hmmm...interesting, Twinkle. You can keep track of condom use in your notes on FF.

Where are "notes"?

There's a box at the bottom of the data entry page where you can type in anything you want. Do you have that or is it now just a VIP thing?

Found it! I have that too, thanks, that's helpful.

Still vaguely worried about my chart, but we used a condom from day 16 to day 27, which really should cover all bases.

Twinkle, I always used the X for intercourse when it was protected, and AM or PM when it wasn't. that way I knew by just looking whether or not we'd used a barrier

That's a good idea. I hadn't thought of that.

How are you feeling, btw?

I feel like I need to manually enter my O day b/c today they moved it up 2 days. EVERY sign pointed to CD18 I think a stair step shift is normal for me and the jump that happened between cd 19 and cd 20 was b/c I was up a lot with ds b/c he was vomiting all night. I don't know. I now have a better BD thermometer so I started that today. It seems to be off by .1-.2 each time. We'll see next month. WDYT? Thanks

I'd put your O day where you put it. That makes more sense to me based on your temps. I think FF probably moved your O day because you had fertile CF on cd19. FF seems to put more importance on CF than temps. I, personally, think it should be the other way around.

You were right. I changed the CF to creamy b/c I knew it was increased b/c we dtd the night before and they changed my date back to where it was supposed to be.

That looks right to me.

FF is doing weird things with my chart - changing the O day around on me... and now the coverline is below some of my pre-O temperatures? Weirdness. I guess it doesn't really matter, I'm pretty sure O was day 15.

I wish I had bought TCOYF instead of reading it from the library - I guess I need to wait until 4 days after day 16, because I had stretchy CM on day 16? Or do I have to start all over with a 4 day count from day 18, because of creamy CM? The temperature shift seems pretty definite to me, although I'd like one more day to confirm because I didn't sleep well last night and that might have thrown it off.

I guess this means AF will arrive just in time for our nice romantic NYE... of course.

I used the custom field and just checked the box. That way it shows up on my chart. You have to mouse over for notes, I like them right there in front of me.

Custom data doesn't show up for me - I only have the free version of FF. AFAIK symptoms are only displayed if you have a paid version

I'm feeling ok, thanks for asking I had another beta today and should have the results Friday. The spotting stopped after two days on progesterone, I don't know if that is coincidence or not. It lasted 5 days, which is the same length as AF is usually, it was just much lighter bleeding.

Merry Christmas
