I wish I had bought TCOYF instead of reading it from the library - I guess I need to wait until 4 days after day 16, because I had stretchy CM on day 16? Or do I have to start all over with a 4 day count from day 18, because of creamy CM? The temperature shift seems pretty definite to me, although I'd like one more day to confirm because I didn't sleep well last night and that might have thrown it off.
I think cd16 was more likely O day than 15. I think it's really bizarre that FF would put cd15 as your O day. You've got dotted crosshairs, which means FF isn't sure of O day. I'd definitely wait for at least one more high temp before assuming O is confirmed. With cd16 as your last peak day I'd start counting from there. Add 3 consecutive high temps from cd18-20 and then I'd think you are safe.

Glad you're feeling ok, texas. I had bleeding/clotting at about 5w when I was pg with ds2. I started taking progesterone and it went away.

I hesitate to post such a personal thing online, but oh well. I need to tell someone, and most of you here will understand. DH and I got a little swept away with the holidays, I think. I'm just entering my fertile phase. All of a sudden yesterday we got this romantic idea in our heads that we were going to try for a baby, just yesterday, just Christmas. We did end up DTD last night but didn't finish, DH and his logical mind stopped it all. Sigh.

I'm glad today that we didn't chance it. There are just too many things going on right now for us to have another child. Our oldest son is special needs and we're pouring an awful lot into him (both energy and money) My doula business is taking off- pregnancy and a new baby wouldn't fit into that. I also need to work on my health before housing another baby-- my body is rebounding from ulcerative colitis. I really wanted our 18 mo old to nurse til two years with lots of milk. And, day to day is just stress. But, we are both really sad about waiting, even though it's the logical thing to do. DH said last night that our family feels "incomplete."

Back to diligently avoiding and trying hard not to get caught up in the moment. Even if it's what we both want, I don't want this to be a decision that gets made with our hearts with complete disregard for what is going on around us.

Shell_Ell I'm glad you had somewhere to share that. I understand exactly how you feel... waiting is really hard! (Have you been down to the 'wanting but waiting" tribe in this forum? Lots of women in exactly the same situation!)

I think I may have Oed! I'm only on cd14. Ovusoft says I Oed on cd11 with one adjusted temp. FF doesn't give me an O day when set to FAM but gives me the same day as Ovusoft when set to Advanced or if I adjust the one temp on cd12. It's possible since last cycle was anov. This has happened to me once before. I Oed on cd12 after an anov cycle. I'm not completely convinced yet, though.

I think it's actually true. I had another high temp today and FF gave me an O day of cd12. When I adjust the cd12 temp, it gives me cd11 O day. I'm also starting to get the really bad cramps.

Maybe it is something in the air FF says I oed CD 11 this month. I am usually CD 16 -19No annov cycle for me last month either. Do you have the paid version of FF? I didn't know it had a setting for FAM.

Yes, I have the paid version of FF. I got way back when it was new and you could get a lifetime membership for a one time fee. There's a "tuning/override" button under the O detector box. If you click on that (not sure if it's available to everyone), you can change the O detector or you can set your own O day and CL.

I keep forgetting to mention how clueless my dh is even though I've explained charting to him many times. Two days ago we both woke up early and he asked if I wanted to dtd. I didn't but I did tell him that it looked like I may have Oed. His response, "Well, that's another reason not to do it." Huh?

Shell I'm so sorry you are having a tough time right now.

Marinewife - sorry your DH will be gone for so long. That must be really tough. Is he ready to retire soon? It would be hard to have an ooops when he won't be around to help out.

I have the free version of FF too and I use X for condoms or withdrawal. I can also set my O detector to FAM with the free version.

Looks like I will be Oing early this cycle too. I have had crazy EWCM the past couple days and my OPK is almost positive. I am back from vacation now and I temped this morning. It was still below the coverline so maybe I will have a temp spike in the next few days.

We can chalk up all these early O's to the relaxing holidays :

I think he's got about 14 more years before retirement. He has no intentions of getting out.

Well, I've been skimming the posts as they show up in my email, but have been away so much I just haven't had time to post. It sounds like there is a lot going on right now in everyone's lives. Did I read it correctly that texaspeach is now pregnant!?!!

My charting is just swimming along nicely. I skipped a couple of days temping, since we were so off schedule while we were in FL. Then, the kids were sick, and I was up about every 30 min. most of the night one day. Fortunately, that was a short-lived thing! Still, my chart looks surprisingly complete.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Any thoughts on my missing period? If I am preggers it's condom failure, not FAM failure (we used one from cycle day 13 - 29) but it would REALLY screw a lot of things up.

Hmmm...I checked you're chart a day or two ago and assumed AF was on her way since your temps were going down. How late is she, 2 days? It doesn't look like your O day could've been later. If she doesn't show tomorrow, I'd test.

I was expecting AF this morning, but I don't feel like she's coming at all... no cramps, nothing.

Could just be one of those times when your lp is 2 days longer for some unknown reason. Hang on at least until tomorrow. She still has time to show today.

I hope so. Cross your fingers for me.

Let's play our favorite game: when did I O? I'm 99% certain FF has it wrong. I'm thinking cd32? Any guesses?

And how long do we need to wait to dtd? Let's say it is cd32. Would we be safe to dtd tonight? Or do we need to wait one more day?

Shelsi, are you just venting, or is your chart somewhere?

You sound frustrated, which sucks. (Being frustrated sucks, I mean.)
