Hi. I don't see why he couldn't give P90X a go, unless he's extremely out-of-shape or overweight. If he is, he might want to start with P90. But if he's in okay shape, he really shouldn't have problems with P90X. Even if he can't keep up for the first few weeks or the first month, he should really be hanging in there after that. He will be sore no matter what.
If he's really motivated, then I don't think he'll have a problem sticking to it. Classic should be fine to start with, too. If it is too difficult, he could always switch to Lean for the first round.Good luck to him! Let us know how it goes. And don't feel bad about buying off of EBAY. I bought P90X+ off of there. ![]() |

I was overweight when I started P90X, and I relied on my muscle memory to get me going. DH and I are doing the lean version of P90X to drop a lot of fat before starting classic. Lean doesn't include plyo, which would have been pretty hard on my knees with the extra weight I was carrying. We will start the classic version in April!

), and I am moving from 8-10 pounds per hand to 8-15 pounds. Excited! DH is going to do it alongside me, too. Should be fun.
