Labor symptoms

This misery wants company.

At about 4 PM all this week I start to feel like I'm going to throw up. I eat dinner and it gets worse. It irritates contractions and I feel terrible until I lie down, miserable, and then it all stops and I go to sleep. Then I wake up at like 6 am with the runs.

Since I've never gone into labor on my own, I have no idea what the hell this all is about. Is this something? Return or morning sickness?

Well I dont' have the runs in the morning but I am feeling nauseated in the evenings again. Started this past weekend...ugh. I believe it's just part of getting ready for labor. Sucks though. I'm still having horrible backache and spaced out contractions. I just wish something would kick in, I'm sooooooooo ready for baby.

Hmmm...now you guys have me wondering.

I've been getting nauseous in the afternoons again. Not a good feeling. It just comes out of no where.

I get decent, timeable contractions at night and some during the day. I do feel a bit vomitous during these times.

I'm not in a hurry to have the baby although I really do want to meet him/her and know exactly what she/he is. I'm due tomorrow so it's not a big deal that I haven't had the baby yet but...tonight I made some fresh pesto to eat with pasta....basil is contraindicated for pregnancy b/c it's suppose to cause premature labor.

I haven't been getting nauseous but last night I was in the tub and out of nowhere with literally NO warning I threw up in my bath water. I have not actually vomitted at all during this pregnancy.

Weird! I had this, this afternoon. I had a great, productive morning. I ate nothing bizzaro, cream of wheat for early AM bfast, a couple choc chip cookies and my RRL tea later in the AM, then, out of nowhere, just as I was contemplating what to eat for lunch @ noon, ran to the bathroom and sicked up everything I've ever eaten in my entire life!
Haven't had a speck of nausea, let alone actually being sick in Months!

I got nausea during the transitional part of labor. Towards the early labor I would get frequent bowel movements, but not so much nausea. It is different for everyone, though.

Really?!? I had never heard this before...I eat basil like fiend!

Wow, I never knew that about basil!

I know the afternoon nausea all too well, however. My eating schedule is crazy as a result (perhaps why I got up and fixed myself breakfast#1 at 3 AM?)

Sorry to hear about the vomiting (especially in the bathwater, trimestersdoula.) How unpleasant!
