Wth?

Why do I feel so wet down there?

Earlier today I felt this odd bubbling sensation coming from my vagina. Suddenly I felt like I had peed myself a little. Nothing new, except the bubbling. So I went and changed my undies a bit later bc I kept feeling wet. Put on a pad and the pad keep getting wet (just barely). I keep semi freaking out thinking my water has broken and I'm just barely leaking, but at the same time I think I'm just being silly bc I'm only peeing myself like I have been for a while and that's what's making me feel wet down there.

Gah... It's annoying. I wish it'd either stop or turn into something so that I can for sure tell what's going on.

Hmmm, not sure what to tell ya.

I had a similar experience last night....minus the bubbling. DH and I DTD and afterwards this clear liquid came out. I touched it and it felt just like water when I rubbed my fingers together. Not at all like CM. It didn't smell like anything either. This afternoon I moved and I thought I had peed myself. Nope! Watery, like last night. I am as confused as you are.

I hate being confused, lol. I'm half tempted to shove a tampon up there for a couple of hours to rule out leakage :P

Hmmmm... I'd want to know where it's coming from just 'cause I'm nosy. You don't have to stick a tampon up there (and shouldn't if your membranes are ruptured). Just wad up a bit of tp and put it in the opening. If it saturates, it's coming from the vajayjay. Your pee shouldn't be able to get it wet.

Oh yeah I know... I wouldn't do it anyways, lol... Just me being a nerd and making a goofy comment. I'll try the TP thing though and see what's going on Wasn't sure if something like that'd be safe since a tampon woudn't be. Thanks for the nifty idea!

Well, what's the verdict? How quickly did you have to change the pad? I had a slow leak w/ dd, but it soaked a pad pretty quickly. GL!

im having the same issue and think i may have a small leak (but baby is sooo engaged there is no way alot would come out if it was a high leak).

they sell ph strips or you can go to your MW for one to test the liquid. i havent found a pharmacy that carries then yet. im off to google.

I guess I'm not leaking, lol. I took a shower then tried the who TP thing. I get a lot of discharge so I couldn't tell if the moisture on the TP was me leaking or the discharge, so I just decided to sit back, relax, & not worry about it. This mornign when I woke up nothing felt abnormal and there's not excess of moisture, so I guess I'm good to go. Sorta sad bc Im ready for my little girl to be here, lol. But I guess she needs to bake a little longer

You should be able to buy litmus paper at any pharmacy. Litmus paper has a different reaction to urine and regular discharge then it does to amniotic fluid. I'm pretty sure thats the method the doctors/midwives use to make sure you actually have ruptured membranes when your just leaking a little bit.

Sounds like an increase in CF to me! I'm right there with ya. It's totally annoying. Pregnancy does crazy things to our bodies. Sheesh!

oh my gosh, I just had to respond. I've had the same bubbling feeling at different times in this last trimester. Strange but nothing came of it. But this is my 4th pregnancy and this is the first time I feel much more moisture down there, not discharge or anything just a wet feeling. I think I mainly do it when I walk somewhere and it's hot outside or I get warm. the thing that puzzles me though is I'll be hot but not sweaty anywhere else, just my undies. I have to change my undies but it does feel like my water is broken but it's not. My water broke with my first labor at the start and I remember putting large washcloths in my undies to absorb it it was so much, so I know it can't be that. also when I get cooled down, my undies are dry, so I've come to the realization that it can't be even a small leak and, like you, to just sit back and wait. But it's strange that this is the first time I've been unable to figure it out. Maybe I'm just much more active and not sitting waiting all the time for this kiddo to come with my other 3, I don't know. It definately gives me pause though! too funny!
