Thanks poetgirl. I think you're right about the riding. Just walks for now. I do think I got great results from the Clomid. It actually makes me feel ok about what I went through while taking it. I was a raving lunatic - so irritable and depressed - it was awful. After the ultrasound, I decided the few days of nuttyness was worth it. Now I just have to try to relax until Nov. 7 when I go for the blood test.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you, Lola! Sounds like this may be a very good month for you!

Thank you all for your positiveness (is that a word???) I am going to get my blood drawn tomorrow at lunch, and hopefully hear something by Tuesday morning. I took another HPT this afternoon, a cheapie one, which came back BFN. But, I am holding out hope that the Clearblue is a better and more accurate test, which is the one that gave me the BFP. Anyhoo....I'll let you all know when I hear something definite.....:

AAM I am pretty sure I o'd today. Had a lot of pain on my right side and lower abdomen. I was kinda surprised cause I hadn't had that pain since my surgery "fixed" everything. (sorry if this is tmi) but does anyone else have pain while bding during O time?? It freakin hurts!! Have a repeat u/s in the am-hoping that it just confirms that I did O!!

Is there anything that makes it better? This might sound horrible but I don't tell DH that it hurts or else he would refuse to "participate". So I just suck it up and don't say anything. It hurts bad enough that I want to cry sometimes... but gotta get the spermies up there somehow!! IUI isn't an option yet.. gotta talk DH into it!

For me, I think it hurts because my cervix is lower during that time of the month. I tell DH that it's hurting and he tries to be gentile, but still it brings me to tears sometimes as well. If he is behind me, it doesn't hurt as much.

It hurts me too. You're definitely not alone. We did IUI on Thursday and Friday and then on Saturday wanted to have intercourse to give ourselves an extra chance. It hurt more than usual, probably because of the drugs, and we had to do it with me on my side and DH behind me.

It hurts twice as bad that way... I think it isnt my cervix that really hurts but my ovaries are usually enlarged and very tender. oh well, @ least when we tell our future children that we went thru hell and back for them.. we can really mean it!!!


aam- u/s today showed that my "cyst" on the right side was much smaller (that was the first thing the u/s tech said!) it was 29mm, today it was 13 mm... it also looks like there was a smaller follicle right beside it, kinda made it look like 1 big follie-but you could see a very definite line in between them, so I might have released 2 eggs! I can handle 2 babies, anything more than that and I am gonna have to get a therapist!! lol

Crystal-mommy-- I love the saying, I might have to add to my list of sayings I have been gathering while I am on this journey. I was totally feeling this last night. I asked DH what will happen to us if we can never have our child. That moment in time I was so scared that this can be real and he looked at me in horror and just went back to sleep. We are so scared and upset that this can be a reality. I told him we will never know our product of our love and never have a soul come from us. This is a horrible feeling. SO this saying is very perfect for me.
Great it was ovulation for you and not any other unusual problems. Hey 2 eggs sounds nice, better chances and maybe twins

12 DPO here and afraid to test. I'm on progesterone supplements and I know the symptoms of pregnancy are the same for the supplement. I think I will test tomorrow.............maybe. The good news is that I was right! I haven't had any spotting since 7DPO (like I did the past three cycles). Although my progesterone levels were tested and I was found to be within the normal range..........the progesterone supplements help my luteal phase. I think it's interesting since the previous doc I saw told me over and over that taking the supplements won't help me because my levels were normal. Whatever doc!

Holy Kripes! I can totally see how after all this time, you need the real #s to really take it in (I'd be the same way). I hope your beta is rockin tomorrow. You deserve this so much! Hoping and Praying over here that all is well and your TTC journey is moving on. : For now, take refuge in the fact that Something is going on and it is possible for you to be pregnant.

I have a horse and ride 5 - 6 days/week generally but am rethinking that right now even though the nurse at the RE's office said it was ok. I got on today and just walked. When I tried to do anything more than a walk, my lower abdomen started hurting so I decided to abandon the ride.

Welcome! During ART, I really take a break during the 2ww. I am sure that it would probably be ok, but I am one to look back with regret and thinking "If I only didn't get on that treadmill."

How is everyone doing today? I got a "peak" reading on my monitor today. DH has a SA on Saturday and our first appointment with the RE for TTC #2 is next Wednesday!

I'm not ready to be a "graduate" yet... when you've been around as long as we have, you've seen too many chemicals and blighted ovums (and the occasional ectopic) to get too excited. But this is the furthest I've ever gotten, and I'm celebrating that! I'll take another home test tomorrow and get the beta, and I'll update you when they let me know in the afternoon.

Speaking of betas... Lola??? Where are you?
