Does anyone feel like

The baby is NEVER coming? I am to that point and it so strange. I feel like this child will be a teenager before it comes out. Anyone else know what I mean? Does it mean anything I am going to be really late having this baby? I am 38 weeks 4 days. I am a first timer so new to all these things! TIA!

Yeah, I'm not even due (39 weeks today) and already I'm starting to feel like I'll be pregnant forever. Probably because I'm just now starting to feel uncomfortable - the braxton hicks contractions are picking up, and every so often I feel crampy. My unwieldiness is starting to get to me too. This is my first as well... statistically, we probably WILL go late!

I'm right there too and I'm due in 3 days. I've been feeling some crampiness and pressure but no contractions of any kind. Not even the braxton hicks contractions. It's making me feel that she's in no hurry at all to make her way out and I'm getting more uncomfortable by the day.

yup I always get like this at this point....when people start having babies at 37 and 38 weeks and I know I wont have mine till 40ish it makes those last few weeks so hard. Makes me feel like I get stuck being pregnant twice as long as everyone else....lol

You will have the baby... don't worry! They never stay in forever! I'm actually enjoying the respite. My MW has said for two weeks now that I could go "any day" ... I actually felt like I could have gone last week but this week I'm kind of feeling like its not going to happen until Monday or so.

Yea...I'm preparing for my son going through puberty before his arrival. It's really taking THAT long.

I am one day over due and counting. Ugh... totally feeling that this will never happen. : I am so grumpy!

Thanks I don't feel alone or weird anymore. I was hoping I think in the back of my mind that maybe someone would say that this was a sign of impending labor! HAHA! I WISH/HOPE SO! We shall see.

The rational side of my brain is just not working so well these days! I live off of intuition and feelings.

I know how you feel. I get so down and depressed these last few weeks feeling like baby will NEVER arrive. I still have two weeks until my due date and I'm already analyzing each braxton hick and twinge hoping that maybe something is happening.

Just keep telling yourself that no one has been pregnant forever and the chances of you being the first are next to none.

Today is my due date. I don't foresee anything happening for a few days yet.

No, I don't feel like this. My baby is so low in my pelvis I feel like it's going to fall out....why labor isn't starting I have no idea but I'm sure it's going to be soon.
