Hi all
I went into labor on Sunday 9/28 after my water broke...and after 22 hours had my beautiful baby boy at home in the water. We had 4 hours at home together b4 we decided to transfer to the hospital for some breathing problems. 3 hospitals later we are recovering from surgery in the NICU. My boy's esophagus was not connected all the way to his stomach, an 'esophagial astrisia'. His surgery was yesterday & he is doing well so far. It will be at least a few weeks b4 he is recovered enough to go home.
We are so glad to have had him at home & be able to spend time together as a family before he had to be admitted. I am very tired and spacey so forgive me if this sounds broken
I will try to update more as we know more.

Congrats on your new little one! My first was born at home but ended up in the NICU for a birth defect also, so I know what a roller coaster that can be. We were also very glad we got to spend time with her at home before we had to go in. I'm glad the surgery has gone well and hope he's home before you know it!
