can't believe i bought maternity clothes - Page 2

Oh good... I'll check out JCP very soon and see if I can find some dresses.

Yeah, it's always hard to find good maternity tops that don't show all. They're noticeable enough without scooping that low!

The thing that I am disappointed about it the lack of colors. It seems like the vast majority of shirts come in black, grey and occassionallly red. I cannot wear red with my skin tone, and I do not really like wearing black. I will wear it once in a while, but not a wadrobe full of black.

Did you check out the ON sale? Lots of colors over there. Lots of blues and pinks, even some yellow and orange.

Yeah. I love a sweater there. It is light blue (blue is my favorite color). Thanks!

I guess I was not being fair when I said everything was only those colors. In general it feels like most stuff is black or gray.

I've been trying to buy a maternity clothes "lot" from someone on kijiji (like craigslist) that includes about 15 tops and 8 pairs of pants, all for $100, in my approximate size, but she's not responding to my e-mails!

Haha, I had the exact same thought! I live in GA, so it gets warm pretty early here too. I plan on buying up a bunch of maternity summer clothes on sale this weekend. Well, I actually bought my first maternity purchase a couple of months ago because I thought it was so cute.

Did you guys know that a new pink (maternity, but nobody else has to know!) hoodie helps to ease the m/s? Mmmmmm

OK, the pukey feeling is back, but it was good for 10 min or so!

Here is what I have bought so far:

Old Navy Shirt - On sale for $8
Black Capri's for next year - $6
Super cute tank dress shirt - $20
Tank T-Shirt - $5
Sweatshirt (Target) - $25 This was super cute and couldn't pass it up!!

That is it for maternity as of right now.

I did buy some new shirts yesterday (5 of them) though for fall/winter that will work probably through January or February (maybe). They are longer stretchy shirts that I think will stretch with me for a while. I love that some of the styles now are longer... makes it easier to transition from non-maternity to maternity. I need to get more shirts that I can wear to work though! I had a small pooch just because of some extra pounds already, so I don't forsee wearing my current clothes for long, thus the reason why I bought some shirts yesterday. They were all reasonably priced though under $15 each.

I tried on some maternity jeans (Motherhood), but non of them seem to fit right. The Large is too small on my legs, and the XL is way too big?? I guess it's going to be fun trying to find cute jeans for the winter!! I feel super bloated today for some reason!!

I was tempted as they had a few items in the chairty shop lol
But I just do not know what size I am going to be - I gained a lot of weight last pregnancy but I started out underweight so, even though it would save me money in the long run - it would be a waste if they turned out to small for me when I actually needed them! hehe
