Im 40 weeks 5 days. Still no baby.. Im guessing Im the only one left, eh?

You're not the only one left!! I'm 40+3 and gettin' kinda grumpy about the whole thing. My mantra currently is: "It can't last forever. It can't last forever." Even though it seems like it right now. I've just been trying to have as much sex (dh *very* happy about this) and doing as much walking as I can, I seem to be getting stronger contractions which is encouraging but since they keep fizzling out, it seems more like a tease than anything else.

I'm 40+3, too. I've accepted that I'm never having the baby. ever. It's just not coming out.

41 weeks today. Still here. Nothing happening really. I thought earlier today was the start of something. Yeah right. My body is just teasing me. Tomorrow I see my mw. We'll see what she says.

Haha, that's how I felt at the end! I was certain she was going to just stay in there forever! And... then I was induced.

Y'all just should have been hanging out in the October DDC! Then you wouldn't be feeling so late...

ive mostly hung in Oct. this pregnancy. i always expected an Oct. baby.

I'm 40 weeks and 6 days today. I've taken myself off of Baby Watch; it's just becoming boring! But I did read somewhere recently that the average gestation for a first time baby is 40 weeks, 8 days - when the baby is allowed to come out on its own time. I wish someone had told me that months ago!!! LOL.

I'm too committed to here I think it will be interesting to see who here has their baby last. :

Probably would be me. No mucous plug, no low cramping (which I would get before the mucous plug), not even as many BH's as last week, no signs at all. Just a heavier baby happily bouncing away on my bladder.

And yes I am tired.

eta: I'm 40 wks 5 days too. My last baby came at 41 wks and 4 days - oye.

To the bolded passage above -- me too! I'm 41w2d and no mucous plug, no cramping. Nothing. Maybe a few more BH. Maybe. I'm not even sure about that. I'm hanging in there with you!

40 weeks 5 days. I've never been so cranky in my life. ever. I just have such a short fuse today. I almost threw something when my inlaws decided to call AGAIN this morning "just to check". At least I'm not the one who answered the phone. I am really crampy on and off today, but I'm not expecting it to lead to anything.

im done living life waiting for baby. im going to try to focus on other things (yeh right!!! lol!).

oooh, i just found this thread - i'm right there with you all - 41 weeks 2 days. would be good to find something else to think of though, huh? we had visitors in our house from early september until last thursday - thinking we would have help with our other 2 kids when the baby arrived. it was fun at first, then exhausting, then annoying ("so do you think today is the day?" ad nauseum). we had a little break for the weekend since my parents went to my sister's wedding in france ( for me) - but they return tonight (we are in switzerland so not too far to travel). part of me thinks that this baby is going to hold out until she feels absolutely no pressure - ie 42 weeks on the dot when the last visitor boards the plane.

i guess it's time for me to schedule a pregnancy massage?!

Still pg 41 weeks and 2 days. Some BH but no show. I totally thought I'd go into labor yesterday but nope, still pg.
