It is awful, but going through the immigration and visa process right now for my English husband, it doesn't surprise me. We "could" apply for a vax waiver, but then we have to wait about 3 more months in an already excruciatingly long and expensive process. He just went ahead and had the MMR and tetanus boosters, and is currently, as he just had the shots on the first, feeling the after effects. Ugh!

<sarcastic tone> Nice that gardisil's makers have the monopoly and rake in $400 per girl/young woman. good to know they have the be$t at heart for them. </sarcastic tone>

Good luck with the process. Sorry to hear about all the stuff they are making your husband take. I hope he feels better soon.

If it is not a law for american citizens, I can't see how they can demand it of anyone trying to become a citizen.
