I just have a couple of questions...
1) If this is the case, why aren't the OBs over here telling all pg women to get Td boosters during pregnancy to "protect our babies"? And is he saying that we pass our vaccine-induced tetanus immunity on to our babies? I didn't think this was possible (i.e. the natural measles immunity versus vaccine-induced measles immunity and the ability of the former to protect babies).
2) Besides pouring all the money into vaccines, what else is being done there to make living conditions better and "more sanitary"? Couldn't that money be used for other programs? Also, what kind of education programs are being funded re: cord care?
