Ouch! My Tailbone!

Thread Starter
Oh my - is anyone else feeling tailbone pain? I've been doing the usual nesting stuff (washing clothes, re-sorting out dressers, etc), and as the day has progressed right below my tailbone has gotten progressively more painful. It's to the point where I'd like to volunteer to have my entire bottom removed to stop the pain. (LOL!!)

Am I alone? Any tips? This really hurts! Thanks!!!!

I'm not having that kind of pain but I couldn't read and not respond with at least a . I hope you can find some advice for relief or at least someone with which to commiserate!

I have that too. The other day my hips hurt so bad that I couldn't walk well. The best thing, when baby is pressing on nerves, is to get on a birth ball and rotate. That can get baby to settle just off the nerves and relieve some pain. Also remember epsom salts in warm baths for bone/joint pain.

I've had this for a few days straight now, and OMFG!!!!

Nothing has helped. It seems like there are tendons or something over my tailbone that are sliding off to the sides, and DH has even heard "popping" noises when this is going on (usually when I'm going from sitting --> lying or vice versa). It FEELS like it's broken or bruised, but I haven't fallen or mistreated the area lately, so I can only guess that it's a pg thing.

Someone please tell me this gets better!

ETA: Oops, didn't realize I was in Oct 08 due date form...found the thread through a search!
