I made another one last night, and actually tried to keep track of how much tulle I used. I used about 2.5 rolls, which were 20-25yards each. So, say you buy three rolls of tulle, at about $4-5 each. (They might have been only $3 at Walmart, but I can't remember.) Then, you need some elastic, which is about $2 for a yard of 3/4" underwear/pajama elastic. I used 26" of elastic for mine, so if you were going to make two, I would try to buy the elastic in a larger than one-yard increment to save money.

And I sewed on a cute bow made of wide satin ribbon, which I just got out of my ribbon stash. This would be optional, but say you want to do that, a small spool of ribbon would run $2-3.

I made the one last night, start to finish, in about 1.5 hours.
