Amigurumi Help?

I'm trying to make Mr. Tickles
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...Mr._Tickle.jpg
for my dc, but I'm not sure how to make the arms. I'd like them to be long, but not floppy and just hanging down.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

(obviously )You can control the length of the arms in the number of rounds you do. And in regard to arm stiffness, I'd recommend over-stuffing and/or adding something firm and bendy in the center of the stuffing within the arm if possible. A pipe cleaner comes to mind(?)

Hope that helps!

I think a pipe cleaner sounds good! I was going to suggest a piece of wire inside the arm, but I think a pipe cleaner might be better. You might want to wrap the pipe cleaner or wire in some sort of batting or fabric and knit around it and make sure that the ends of the fabric or batting are sewed well so that the ends of the wire won't ever poke out.

We love mr. tickle! If you make a pattern for him would you mind sharing it here?
thank you!
