Natural/hypoallergenic detangler?

Dd is 4 and wants her hair long. Emphatically so. (She's growing it out, right now it's about 1-2" below her shoulders.)

She also has highly sensitive skin. She's gotten a very itchy eczema type rash on her back, and the only thing I can trace it to is the hair detangler we've been using.

Is there something else I can use to help get the tangles out of her medium-fine, straight hair? (She also tends to oily skin so I don't want to add a lot of oil - I have a hard enough time getting her pillow cases clean as it is!)

California Baby makes one (they have a great conditioner as well):

I buy the conditioner pellets and cellulose from SoapCrafters.com . . . I have very sensitive skin (MCS and allergies) and it's about all I can use.

Thanks -- alas dd reacts to lavender, so I can't use the California baby one. I"ll check out Soapcrafters.com -- I can tell it's going to be an on-going thing to keep her skin from itching.

adding a tbsp of vinegar to a mug or jar of water then pouring it on after you rinse out the shampoo works wonders.
