Anyone else pooping alot? Im 40 wks 3 days and i have been taking about 5 poops a day for the past four days. Its a good thing considering i was just constipated the four days before that. Isnt his a sign of labor.

Another question: So im dialated 2 cm but i never noticed a mucous plug with any pink, red or brown color to it. I have had two kids and lost it both times. I do have lots of mucous but just the normal color. Is this something that just happens sometimes when you dialate?

I don't know but I have the same thing. Just lots of clear mucous.

4x a day is my norm so I can't say I've noticed an increase but it's definitely much softer and I've got a TON of CF but it's not mucous-y. Hopefully this is the start of something for you Debra!

Four poops a day? I'm envious. I'd kill for that a week right now.

^I attribute it to my Juice Plus+. It's a whole food product meant to help you get all your fruit and veggies a day (7-11 servings) along with all the antioxidants, cancer fighting agents, and other things (like decreasing BP, cholesterol, getting rid of asthma, ear infections, allergies, etc) that come with those foods.

I'm going twice a day now, which is way up from my norm. I definitely remember this happening soon before I had my first.

I poop more lately, too. Also I was at 3 cm on Tuesday, and my mucous plug has been coming out just in bits now and then (almost like heavy discharge) - only a few times has it been pinkish (one of those was after an exam, too) or brownish.

A couple times a day is normal for me, but the evening before I went into labor this time I was in the bathroom every half hour clearing out. I totally missed it as being a sign even though I was a few days overdue. I kept doing all throughout labor too. Fun...

I also didn't lose my plug until labor began this time. At first it was mostly brownish with a little blood streak, but as labor progressed it became very mucusy with lots of blood tinge and remained that way up till the end. I think it's when it's bloody that it means dilation?

I've been going a lot. I remember this with my first, but don't remember how soon before labor it started. A few weeks at least. And even when I'm not going, I always feel like I have to. It's not as 'soft serve' as it was with ds, though.

I never noticed the loss of my plug with ds, just lots of normal discharge. This time I've lost a lot of mucus, just today, idk if it's plug or not.

Yea i think i had very soft bowels and lots of them with my last pregnancy but that was weeks before i went into labor also. But im due already so im hoping within the next few days.

I've been going a lot, too. more and more. I have a lot of CM but no spotting/MP to be seen.
