Bother blocking Wool-ease?

Man, I hope this doesn't come off as a totally stupid question!

I just finished knitting the pieces for my first adult sweater and it's time for the seaming up. Everything I read says to block the pieces first. But I knit this out of wool-ease ('cause...yannow...first sweater, who knew how it would turn out?! ).

My understanding is that acrylic doesn't block. So, is there any point to blocking wool-ease, given the low content of actual wool?

Thanks!

IME it's not worth bothering. How do the pieces look?

Well, it's all stockinette, so they look curly But they seem to match up all right.
