Where to buy an exercise bra?

I'm pretty new to exercise -- am taking a three-day-a-week cardio class and loving it! It's a whole new me.

I need to get a good supportive bra though and don't know where to look, or what to buy, or how much to spend. I wear a size 36-DD so firm support is key. Any suggestions are most welcome, thanks!

I'm a triple D and the only bra I use is the enell bra. www.enell.com They're pricey, but wear really well and can be found on ebay sometimes. HTH.

I have found the best luck at a plus-sized store 'cause there bras actually are supportive. I find anything that offers the same style A & all the way up is NEVER supportive enough for those of us with larger breasts. I have also had good luck with bras designed for back support. The squish & smoosh pullover your head sports bras all suck IMO, but I do sometimes (for cardio) use them over another bra to give me even more support.

I have an enell for running. For other days, I wear 2 bras. Usually an underwire basic bra in a style that I love, and then I wear a pull over racerback sports bra. I usualy get them at Target (love the C9 Champion prices there) or at my sporting goods stores off the clearance racks (last season's colorways)

*nothing* beat the enell. i've nursed three, am 35 yrs old, and your same bra size (iow, the girls have seen better days). i joke about rolling 'em up and tuckin' 'em in there. but serioulsy, they will not move in the enell. i can't buy a bra without trying it on, so i went to rei to get mine. i did find the size (they have ranges, so not too many sizes), true, so it may be possible to order it. good luck. a great bra is a wonder.

Moving Comfort also has some great, supportive bras. I love the Fiona bra, it even worked as a nursing bra! I'm down to a regular ol' D now, but at my peak, I was an F cup, and this bra is the only one I've ever used that absolutely prevents ANY bounce, even running. You can usually find them at specialty running stores and REI, and all over online.

Boobware.

I have had fabulous luck with Title 1X.

Not only do they have a fantastic bra selection but they have lots of high quality pro-women clothes. I recently bought a skort there- I said to my daughter previously that it seemed unfair that one had to be under 10 to get a skort!. I guess their style is styling Girl-Jock. Their sizes run big and the folks that work their are really nice. I live in Portland so I don't know if they have a store near you...

This is their 3 barbell bra section:

I am a 34 DDD+ and it is such a bummer to go bra shopping because I usually have so little selection. I am really liking title nine for this reason.

Tell us how it goes.
