So on Monday I have to go in to the hospital to get the cervidil put in. I have to be there at 8 am and she said to be expect to be there for 2 hours for monitoring. If nothing happens they will send me home and i can return when labor starts. Should i bring my bags in that morning? Or should i just bring my purse? And let dh go get it if things progress. I dunno ive never done this before. And how would he get the things if we valet?

Well that sounds somewhere in between scary and exciting!
If I were you, I would bring my bags just in case. You might pack something that you might want and need if you end up staying more than those two hours. You may not want to have all of the running back and forth for the bag- but I would leave it in the car and just bring in your purse at first.
Even if you use valet, you can still go find your car and get your stuff. I'm sure your DH will be going out there at some point. I just say...relax...let go...let flow!
If you have you baby....I'm giving you a premature congrats

I think I would take my bags just in case. I've heard of women who go right into labor with only the Cervadil. Best wishes for Monday, or maybe you'll even go into labor before then on your own.

I would do whatever is going to make you feel the most comfortable. If you're going to be worrying about where your stuff is and how you'll get it if you need it, then bring it with you so you can relax and focus on getting labor going. If you go home, it's no big deal to put it back in the car. Stressing over stuff is counter productive when trying to induce labor.

I've also heard lots of stories of women going right into labor from the cervadil. There's also the minute chance that for one reason or another the doctor won't want you to leave. You'll want to have your stuff just in case.
I would probably leave mine in the car, too. At least DH won't have to go too far if you do need it!
