Solano/East Contra Costa County Area?

Heya MDC mommas,

I'm just wondering if there's anyone in my area. I live in Benicia but am more familiar with the Contra Costa Area (Oakley, Antioch, Martinez, P. Hill, etc). I grew up in antioch but rarely make it out there (a bit busy/crowded!).:

Anyone studying to be a doula or midwife? I'm going to be doing an intro midwifery class in Jan 2009 and am looking for some correspondence.

I'm enrolled in AAMI. I'm still in the Orientation phase.

There's a Student Midwife Tribe in the Birth Professionals section of these boards. There are quite a few of us, and there's lots of great information in our Tribal thread.

I live in Concord, close to the Walnut Creek border.

There is an entire group of us that do things regularly. They more so than me!

Not a midwife, but gave birth with midwives and can't speak highly enough about them.

Have two wee ones: ds (age 4) and dd (age 18 months)

GREAT! I'm glad to see a local MDCer!
I have a DD (5) and DD (3 mos). We frequent the city park here in Benicia. If you're wanting to meet up sometime then let me know!
