And when looking at used, 20,000 per year mileage isn't bad, so for a 2002/3 with 100,000, that's about average.
See, I am surprised to see this. We have a 99 Pontiac Montana and we had to put two engines it in in the span of two years. There was a defect that allowed oil and coolant to mix and crack the camshaft. The second time around we bought an engine that came out of a truck, that was over a year ago and so far so good. I would never recommend them to anyone, we have paid more in repairs then we spent on the van.

We found ours off cars.com

2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport with 112k miles on it. Paid $5k for it. Only had to put a $50 starter into it, and a tire cause I ran over a bolt. It's been great.

if i were looking for something in that price range, i woudl be willing to take a Toyota or Honda w/ 100k miles.

DP purchased a vehicle with over 80k in 2003....we are trading it in b/c someone just hit me but it has over 168k miles on it right now. You just need to be careful about history and make of car.

Having said that, I wouldnt purchase a used American car (well, i wouldnt purchase an American car anyway but thats just me and i know alot of ppl disagree with me about that one).
