Looking for ideas on how to make a book bag/satchel type item. Xposted

I am going to begin selling childrens books and I would like to make some kids book bags or totes that would be child size and fun to sell along side them. Are there any patterns or type of bag that would be good for that use? Or if you have a better idea it would be welcomed.

Check out the Jordy bag tutorial at craftster.org. It's a basic square bottomed bag that you can make any size, and they have instruction on how to turn into a zippered bag or a messenger bag.
