Hey girls,
this is just a run by post .....
Samuel Ray was born October 1st at 1:59am, he weighed 8lbs 2oz and was 19 3/4 inches long! We had a great home birth, and I hope to share the details soon.
Samuel is a precious baby and I'm amazed how quickly a mother's love can be magnified as she keeps having more children
. This one has me loving them all even more..
My body is healing very well, and baby is gradually adjusting to life outside the womb.. last night he even slept a little
... haha! He still loves to sleep a lot in the daytime.. and may or may not let me rest at night.

If you want to see more pictures I've started a photobucket folder for Samuel that I hope to keep adding more pics to for a while. For now there are some random pictures of Samuel and our family from his first few days.

Maybe soon I can write up his birth story, I think it will be good to think through it all and write it out.

Well this post has been interrupted many times now.... ha so I guess I'd better get it finished before I forget about it!
The boys btw love their new brother, but are giving me some awful jealous looks, and misbehavior is starting up..... so in other words they are acting quite normally considering the circumstances LOL!
