Postpartum Headaches & other Hyper-sensitivity symptoms (drug-free birth)

I'm getting headaches frequently now that I've had my baby. I had a fast, gentle, drug free birth so it isn't a side effect of drugs or anything. They especially come on from using the computer, so seem some what visually related.

Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe it just has to do with the fact that I am also experiencing other hypre-sensitivities to stimuli, like too much sound (exS playing loudly), clutter and toys around me, people talking back and forth too quickly... My midwife said that some women post partum become very hyper-sensitive. I think this is happening to me and I think I was this way when DS was born) now 2.5y/o). DS's playing the other night was putting me totally and completely on edge. I just couldn't handle the noise!

Anyone else experience any of this sort of thing post partum? I am 5 days post partum.

I've been getting 2-3 migraines a week since giving birth (homebirth - no drugs or interventions, very peaceful). I've been attributing it to lack of sleep and not being properly hydrated (more the latter). When I'm careful about my water consumption, the headaches seem to stay away. If I haven't peed all day, I know I'm in for a headache the next day...

i've had some, but i'm guessing it's just my high blood pressure. It's still heading downwards... but hasn't gone away completely.

I'm always a little sensitive to sound, but had headaches just about every day for three weeks pp. It has JUST gotten better and no amount of hydration or rest or caffeine would help them. And it wasn't my BP because I checked it every time I had one and it was low. I attributed it to the hormonal shift...

Competely normal for 5 days post partum....you hit your limit with noise etc...and that's it.

I was the same way....it get's better with some time.
I used to tell my kids or who ever was here at the time...ok yall are being to loud..or alright i'm being over stimulated right now....when you hit that limit you need some mama time...quite room wih dim lights..nurse the baby and you will feel better.
