Intex/Fishy Birthing Pool?

Anyone have any idea where in Western Canada I could get one of these, that are cheaper than Canadian Tire ($34.99)?

no ideas, sorry - but actually, I'd argue that $35 is not that much for it....I bought a new one for each of my births, and used them for at least one summer season afterwards. They're thick and tall, so comfy to lay on top of during contractions and strong enough to hold you up, and I'd be inclined to buy a new one for the birth to make sure there's no holes (presuming you're going to use it inside your home) as opposed to getting someone's used one. Also, it may be difficult to get one in this season, but I've had them order one in before - good luck!

Ds was born in January and I couldn't find any in stock at that time. I ended up borrowing one from my prenatal instructor who had used it twice previously. It had major holes from being dragged outside to empty after her last birth. It was a major pain for dh to patch, but he did it (didn't have a choice) and it worked well.
This time I'm buying my pool now. Actually thanks for reminding me...April probably isn't a good month to find pools either.
And $34.99 is cheap if you ask me. It's a very sturdy pool, if it can hold 40 weeks pregnant me hanging on the side for 9 hours straight...and can be used for summers after for the kids.

Before ds was born (in April) I looked all over for this pool and I couldn't find it anywhere except at Canadian Tire. Sorry.

i think that's actually pretty cheap ... when i had my last one almost 6 years ago they were around that price.
