I'm a little over two weeks PP, and bleeding is now just a faint brown stain. I have been pretty active too...I'm just hoping I don't get another gush today or tomorrow.

I'm almost 5w pp and still bleeding stopped wearing a pantyliner yesterday b/c I couldn't stand it anymore. It's just a reddish pink streak when I wipe 2-3 times a day, but that's still blood. It's getting REALLY old, too.

2w4d pp - still bleeding - still gushing sometimes. still need a real pad

Tomorrow will be 3 weeks PP. I'm still bleeding. But it's not heavy at all. It's just a teeny light little bit. Sometimes I won't bleed all day. A week ago I passed a clot... but none since then.

2weeks 5 days...still need a pad...some days it nothing than other days i stil get gushes....i'm loving my lunapads now.

This makes me feel so much better. I'm 5w on Wednesday, too and I've been thinking the bleeding should have stopeed by now.

2 weeks PP, stopped bleeding last week, then started again a day or so later, was heavy again, now it's spotting again, so who knows? I bled 6 weeks with DD.

3 w 2 d, still bleeding here. Cloth pads are the bomb though (as far as pads go).

I am 2 weeks pp and still spotty with the occasional gush. I think it gets less with every pregnancy though. It was about 6 weeks with ds#1 and then about 3 weeks with ds #2 and I think I am almost done now...

2w and still bleeding as well. Some days are pretty light, others a bit heavier. I've also had two sizeable clots - not big enough to call the midwives but still creepy!

When you all say it gushes, what does that feel like? I just asked my own question about bleeding and gushing and then saw this thread. I am 1week post partum (obviously I know its totally normal to bleed still at this point.) What is new the past 2 nights is that I will feel a gush of what feels like liquid, like it felt when my water broke. I go to the bathroom and it is red like blood, so its like really watery blood or something. Its happened 4 times in the past 2 nights. During the day I am bleeding very lightly but then at night I bleed more heavily and sometimes with this liquid feeling gushes.

Are your gushes like this? Or do mine sound abnormal?

Yep, I had a few gushes like that. My bleeding was really light and then suddenly it was very heavy, briefly. That was in my second week PP, I think. I kind of took it as a sign that I should spend more time in bed resting, so that's what I did.

yea I have to agree with that and I didn't know if that is usually how it goes. This is #4 and by far the shortest I've ever had bled. Almost 3 weeks PP now and its just a brown streak on a pantyliner.....I wish I would have know about the cloth pads

5 weeks and still bleeding--mostly very light but a week ago I had some period type flow. my midwife says its OK and some women bleed for 8 weeks--I'm sick of it though!

13 days pp and definitely still bleeding. it seemed lighter today but then we went to the museum (only third time out of house since birth) and I gushed so much I was sure my jeans were soaked! (they were fine, )

I finally downgraded from the awesome "peach maternity pads" from my birthkit to regular overnight pads. hoping to move to something lighter weight real soon...

Finally stopped over here. I was 5w pp yesterday and I haven't bled at all in two days. YAY!
