I am looking for info on CHOICE midwives in Columbus for a friend who lives there. If anyone has used them for a homebirth I would appreciate the info!

I love them We just had a homebirth with them this past July. If you call, then they will send you their updated information packet with prices. Your first appointment is free. If you have any specific questions feel free to pm me!

I did use them but didn't get to do a homebirth (breech) but really had a good experience even in the hospital (they came with me there) I am going to try to send you a message where you can get more info.

Part of what I am trying to figure out is whether or not they really accept insurance and how it is that they can do that.

I don't think they do... but you can just call and ask. They're open Tues and Wed 1-4 and 6-9.

That said, they really try to work with families on payment plans. You can also barter a portion of the fees as well if you have goods/services to offer.

They don't accept insurance up front, but they will help you get reimbursed through your insurance company after the birth.
