One of my best friends is waiting for twins to be born at home right now. She'll be 38 weeks tomorrow. She's been in early labor since last week. Can't wait to see those gorgeous babes!

our little girl Monta rose camille was born on november 12, at 10:51 pm (ish). she was born at home, on the mattress we didn't cover with plastic, very enthusiastically after around 2.5 hours of intense labour. it was fast!!

she's so beautiful and calm, my older (21mo) son is very kind to her & gives kisses before trying to sit on her and nurse my other breast. and i feel great, so much stronger than after my son's birth. my crotch has even almost forgotten that a large (9lb 5oz!) baby travelled through her.
