I just had a crown put on today, a cavity around a previous filling necessitated that. She drilled in very very carefully and said she didn't see exposed root. WOO! I was very happy to hear that. However she said that it's possible that the root might at some point show signs of infection, and to keep an eye on it.
Is there anything I can do at this point to try and keep that root healthy, or is it just.. it's infected or not infected and nothing I do can change that?
Open to any and all suggestions. I am so terrified of this root being infected. But this week I kept visualizing "strong wall of dentin in front of the root" and that came to pass! :-)
Blessings,
Ahleemah
