My studnet loans are about to come up for payment now that I'm graduating and we really need to get anotehr job in case of an emergency. Does anyone have any ideas for part time jobs to do? I work full time already so I'd need something either online, or evenings and weekends.

I havea B.A in Sociology and will be done with my M.A in Counseling in about 3 months.

what about that stuff everyone talks about... doing surveys online- is that real? how are you paid

thanks!

Sounds funny, but bartending is quite lucrative and fits in well with parenting schedules. I have an MS in engineering but have used bartending as a back-up a few times in my life. The last time I picked up the glasses was when dd was 2-3 yo. It is hard work and the hours suck, but I did get to spend as much time with my family as possible for a part-time job. I picked up two shifts a week and brought home enough to pay our mortgage and half of the food bill. It was not at all uncommon to bring home $200 cash in one night plus getting paid minimum wage on top. And once you have that skill, it is a great back-up. If something happened to dh, I know I can work tomorrow and bring home enough to get by while I figure out what to do next.
