How long does it take?

I just submitted a post and got a message saying that it will be a while because a moderator has to look at it first.

I've been a member of this board for 7ish years and never got this message before.

Can someone tell me how long it will take my post to appear?

The weird/confusing thing is this post appeared immediately without the message and yet my other post still is not up

where did you post? it seems I remember one of the forums like politics having a mod review thing

if it was TAO or questions & suggestions, those go through moderation first.
