The crunchy part is OK, but I think true connoisseur's like some of the chewy nougat as well.
:Puke laughup

It's really hard to gross me out..congratulations!! LOL! That was so funny...and disgusting!

I think more people do nose mining than they admit...heh heh! My DS already uses two fingers in both nostrils! Makes sense to me though..I guess human evolution has booger eating down to help the species survive! :

I'll admit I stopped encouraging my kids to pick their noses when I found they were wiping it on the furniture. I actually cut myself once on some dried crusty snot on the side of the chair!

I do encourage them to swallow their sputum, just because I don't want to deal with it. I went to get gas the other day, and someone had spit out phlegm on the ground in three places. I had to stand to the side and step over it, because I didn't actually want to tread on it with my shoes. I hate when people spit that stuff in public, disgusting!

Conversation that I just had with my almost 3 year old:

Mama: What are you doing, sweetie?
DD: Picking my nose and eating the boogies.
Mama: (remembering this thread while trying not to :Puke from the grossness) Oh, okay. What does it taste like?
DD: It's yummy like STRAWBERRIES!!!

OK. I just sent this thread to my dd because I've seen my grandson eating his boggers. She basically said there was no way to discourage him anyway so she just looked the other way.

My dd is the greatest! :::

Ds is a big boogie eater. I don't remember ever eating my own, but I did put my fingers in my baby dd's mouth and nose and licked them. She had a fever of 100. My thinking was it couldn't hurt. I was hoping to kick up some breastmilk antibodies to whatever she had going on. Wasn't gross honestly, she didn't seem to mind. Nothing ever came of the fever, btw. I do feel like bringing out the head in baggie smiley, but I won't. I've never done that before, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again if I thought it might help her get over a sickness.
