Selling Vintage- Ebay or Etsy?

So I'm stocking up on inventory for a vintage kitchen online store... mostly vintage glasswear but other stuff too. I'm on the fence... should I go with ebay or etsy? Will I get enough traffic on etsy to actually sell anything? If i go with ebay, will i actually make any $$ with all the fees involved? What are the pros and cons of each, iyo?

Thanks!

I would say etsy. I don't know so much about traffic - you have to promote your shop... but etsy's fees are much less than ebay. So, your traffic is up to you, but you pay less money for etsy. Am I making sense?

I'm trying etsy for my vintage stuff. I have had an ebay store, and it does pretty well, but the fees are killing me. I opened my etsy store a week ago, and sold my first item yesterday. : I have actually been surprised at the amount of views my items are getting at etsy.

You definitely get more traffic at ebay, but the fees are significantly higher. At least with etsy you have a chance to promote your store and drive traffic to it.

Another vote for Etsy. I have a vintage shop and the more work I put into it, the more sales/profits I see. You really do need to do much more off site promoting with Etsy though. That's the only big downfall.
