Hi, mama_to_kaylee!

I'm sorry I didn't make it tonight. Things didn't go as planned.

It looks like there are enough of us out here for us to have a fun get-together some time! I'd love to meet some like-minded mamas and I know my kids are always up for some new friends too!

That would be great! I need to make some friends in the area so I don't go completely stir crazy this winter with 2 toddlers.

I agree! Does anyone have any ideas of where to meet?

If the weather continues to be nice, we could meet at Cascades park in Jackson. Or if it turns bad before we can meet, we could go to Chelsea Treehouse in Chelsea. What do you all think? Is there a good time for everyone?
That sounds good to me, although I've never been to either place. Any day is good except this Friday and late morning would probably work best for us.

I love the Chelsea Treehouse! It's great for when it's too cold to venture outside. Of course we live right outside Chelsea and my daughter goes to Chelsea schools so I'm partial, lol. My in-laws live just down from Cascades so I know that area pretty good as well. Either place would work great for us!

Hi! I just wanted to say hi and I'm not far from Jackson! I'm in Marshall... about 35 minutes west!
Has anyone been to tree of life (I think that's the name) in Chelsea, where they have bellydancing classes?
I've been twice, it was a blast!

Hi Jen! I took my daughter to classes at the Tree of Life studio. She just took a generic dance class but they do have some fun ones. It's so beautiful there! I wanted to take the belly dancing classes but I never seem to have the time. I suppose maybe I should make some "me time" and finally do it, lol. It's nice to "meet" you!

I think the weather is supposed to be nice next week. Is there a day that works for everybody? Should we plan to meet at the park?? I think pretty much any day is good for me next week.

Monday afternoon is good for me... actually, any day is fine... but I'll already be over there for prenatals on Monday evening, so I could just come early.....
Which park?

Sorry I missed your post Rodeo Mama. It was a crazy week! I should have known b/c whenever we return home from a trip, it takes about a week to recover. How does next week look to you? Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday would work for me. It's supposed to be cold, so can anyone think of anything indoors that's not too expensive? Let me know!

Thursday or Friday would work for me next week. I really don't know what's around, so I don't have any suggestions for where though.

Also, if anybody is interested in coming, LLL is monday night in Jackson.

chiropractic care?

Hello-

I don't know if you are still looking for chiro care, but I would highly recommend Dr. Lynn Beals-Becker on Jackson Ave in West Ann Arbor. She would be a bit of a drive but she is wonderful. She isn’t a chiropractor but a D.O. that focuses on manipulation. She is very supportive of natural parenting and actually treats infants that have latch/breastfeeding concerns. I take my daughter to for ear infections and I also see her myself.

I'm not too far from Jackson- just north of Chelsea. I would love to be kept in the loop of what's going on around here. I have a 3 1/2 year old son and a 6 month daughter.

Ooooo....I was just thinking that I seriously need to go to the chiro and didn't know anybody up here. Thanks for the rec....off to see if insurance covers her. I'm not too far from you. We are in Grass Lake.

ETA- Well, poo....she isn't covered.

What if we could meet at the Chelsea Treehouse sometime the week of the 17th? I couldn't do the 18th, but I could do Wed, Thurs, Fri. Would anyone be able to do that?
