Hello,
I live south of Jackson (in Liberty Township) and am absolutely seeking to meet up with other moms (or just other women!). I am due with my first child in May. My husband and I just moved here from Grand Rapids about a year ago, and we don't know anyone in the area, and we're really looking to meet new people. We haven't found our niche in Jackson, so I'm hoping this forum may prove to be productive. I'd love to hear back! Thanks,

Hi Brenda! I'd love to get together and chat sometime. We're east of town, near Grass Lake. We've been here about a year and a half. Jackson has a great La Leche League group that meets the second Monday of the month. You'll likely meet some other like minded mama's there. Let me know if you want to meet up...the kids love going to the park, so I could meet you at a park somewhere (Cascades?). Anybody else wanna meet up?

Hi! Great to hear from other moms here. I would love to meet with with other women in the area...however, I am still awaiting to meet my first baby! He or she should be joining us in a few weeks. But, I wouldn't be much of an asset on a play-date. I do hope to attend the LLL meeting in May, so I'm also hoping to meet some moms there; anyone here planning on going? BTW, my brother-in-law and his family live in Grass Lake, so I'm in that area pretty often, too. I'll look forward to hearing back and/or maybe meeting up in the future. Thank you!

I should be at LLL next week. Looking forward to meeting you. Maybe we can plan a coffee night or something of that sort at Panera or Jackson Coffee Company (?) sometime....a mom's (and moms-to-be) night out would be fun.

Bummed I didn't make it to LLL, but had way too much going on getting ready for a trip to TN on Wednesday. Hope to meet up with you soon. Anybody interested in a coffee night or something in a couple weeks?

I'm in Grass Lake, too! Would love to meet some other like minded parents, we moved out here from Ann Arbor, and haven't really found a good friend groove. I've been to the LLL in Jackson a few times, but sadly Monday nights are brutal for me. My daughter Ella is 6 months now (wow, when did that happen!) and we would be up for pretty much any time other than Monday night and Tuesday mornings.

My baby was born on May 17! A healthy boy, we are so happy to welcome him home. I will be off work for a few weeks, so a meet-up in June sounds great to me. I will hopefully also attend the June LLL meeting in Jackson; I know I could use some help!

I had good intentions to make the LLL meeting tonight, but we had some friends stop by unannounced, so I ended up throwing together a dinner. Are things going better with breastfeeding? If you need to get out of the house with Wyatt, just send me a PM, you're welcomed to come over for coffee, or we can meet at one of the local parks this week. I know how isolating those first weeks can feel when breastfeeding isn't going perfectly.

Rodeo Mama, any set date for a playdate? Looking forward to seeing everyone.
