What if it were an anatomically correct female doll? With labia and everything? And it were boys and their dads standing around giggling over it?! Not appropriate. I agree that kiddos shouldn't have and probably don't prefer 'robot' dolls. And let's go ahead and leave their genitals to the imagination as well.

But I guess if my lo (now 18mo) asked why his 'Baby Jo-Jo' (short for Joseph, a male Cabbage Patch kid) didn't have a penis, he and I could probably create one and I'd sew it on for him. And we could laugh about it when he's older.
