I posted last week after finding out by u/s that the baby is breech at 34 weeks. I have been doing all kinds of poses and exercises from spinning babies but nothing has budged. So I saw a new chiropractor yesterday certified in the Webster technique and she said my right side was way off as my leg was longer and my hip was lower. So she adjusted me and then gently massaged the ligaments in front.
(As it turns out she's actually pg with her first baby and due a couple weeks after me, and planning a homebirth with my midwife group!
Cool!)
I could feel the baby moving a lot more right after the appointment and withina few hours the baby flipped head down! Instead of a big old head wedged between my ribs there is now a bum!
I am definitely feeling lots more movement, as if the baby is happy to have more room and kicking up higher. I haven't felt kicks in a long time- just squirms and hand/arm movements- the babe was actually in the KNEELING BREECH position, which is the rarest form of breech I think.
I saw the midwife this morning and she was almost certain the baby is head down, though not right in the pelvis, but at least pointing in the right direction! It's amazing, I can't believe it worked THAT FAST!
: I'm going back to the chiro for one more adjustment this week just to make sure all is good.
My placenta is anterior so I have an u/s next week to confirm 100% and then I can really relax and get bouncing on my birth and doing squats so he gets nicely wedged in the pelvis!
