Beyond question :-) sex related

Before I had DD, sex really felt good in missionary and other positions where DH was entering from the front and rear entry was just blah, didn't really do anything for me. Since I had DD (had a 2nd degree tear), front entry positions hurt like a SOB almost like I am still torn inside - more of a sharp pain towards the top of my pubic bone (definitely muscular or vaginal in nature though, it's not a bone pain). However, rear entry positions feel amazing. Rear entry also does not have the sharp pain.

Any ideas on what changed? The only thing I can think of is that my uterus flipped or my pelvic floor is damaged?

I don't know, but dh is going to be thrilled about your post just as soon as Lina sleeps long enough to test things out.

givinv birth changes things in there. after my birth every felt different. thigns that felt good no longer did and new things felt better. I think it's true mostly with first baby but also after others.

also if it's REALLY painful and not getting better I would consider a trip to the MW to have a look. see how things are healing. it really can take quite a while for things to heal in there if you have an inner tear. months even.

I was kind of debating if I should put in for an appointment - it really does feel like an inner tear. It feels like my labial tear did before it healed (no stitches so it took a bit longer to heal).

Also - I loled at your post, sapphire!

so could be a few things including tissue being thinner from hormones during nursing- sometimes women use estrogen cream and it thickens the tissues--or it could be some scar/skin split that hasn't healed quite right yet or hasn't healed together but apart and is a bit thin -- you could try some saint john'swort oil - it sooths nerves and promotes healing and see if it helps at all-

it also sounds like you have found something that works ; )
