A quick hello! I'm packing up to take the Barth on a mini road trip, into Washington and then up through the Okanagon to visit my grandparents in Princeton. Wish I was going to Vernon and Nelson on this trip, I'd love to say hello! BUT seems we have a wee bit of packing and sorting to do here at the homefront on our return, so can't dilly-dally!!!!! And you know, yes we will eventually be going through Vernon and Nelson, but not until summertime! First we've got to head south!
:
Tiffani, I bet you it's the stress. Even if you're not feeling it all in your head, your body obviously is affected by it. THat, and standing on your head all the time!!!!! Perhaps just like the water going the opposite way down the toilet, perhaps your menstrual flow has to adjust?!!! Te he. Tell Mark to suck it up, you're not the grumpy one HE IS!!!! THat's what I tell J every month anyways!!!!
Halloween - Kea's going as Little Fur, her favourite book character right now, and I've convinced Tiegan and Ryland to be cats, as they are two of Little Furs companions AND very easy costumes to make!
Okay, gotta finish packing for the big drive - happy halloween to everyone!

we went to one of the Weta buildings, where they had severed heads and limbs laying around all over the place, and each office had trick-or-treat goodies, then a big spread for everyone, just pizza and fruit and crackers, etc, but it was fun. we still only know a few people, though, so we're kind of like the only people hanging around not knowing anyone -- hey, just like on bowen!! and we did manage to meet enough people there in our year and a half to feel like we weren't total social misfits, so hopefully that will happen here too... I found that I would sort of just hunt around for the north american accents and start chatting them up -- that and the brand new babies (of which there were 3), those are good conversation starters -- except I confessed to one dad that I wanted to eat his baby...is that a social faux pas?
I miss people just handing me their babies... that was nice.
