Oh my gosh yes. Yesterday I *finally* got all the dirty laundry in the house in just ONE place (the laundry room - what a concept!) and now I just need to wash wash wash and put it all up and I'll feel so much better. But I don't wanna! I'm big into naps right now too.

Good morning! I am on pins and needles about Tara! She was going to the hospital though, so it may be a day or so... How exciting!

Now, for the rest of us! Keep those babies rolling out!!:

I am good, I think I went to the bathroom, literally, 3 times in one hour last night! NO JOKE! How crazy is that?

PW It is so hard waiting for a lazy baby!!! Hopefully you'll be holding your LO soon!

JMarie - I know how you feel about intestinal stuff. I prefer to just go straight to the Clorox when there's been one in our house, too. I try to use safe cleaners most of the time but when you just want that stuff out Clorox gives a certain level of comfort. I hope that you don't get hit too hard by the bug!

BDD Sounds like you have a lovely lazy day ahead :

for all you mamas dealing with sickness ... and for our overdue mamas!!!

I can't wait to hear what's going on with Tara!!!

AAM: pretty slow day here today. We did our last big lesson for my DD's homeschool unit today; tomorrow is review (we school Mon-Thurs) and I'm thrilled about that. We have a 1 week nature unit next week which is more laid back (we're just finishing a 4 week language arts unit) - so I'll be OK if the babe comes then... Then I've scheduled a few weeks off from school (with some informal plans in case of a late baby!) We do have some crafts and things to do though. I'm just excited about getting close!

Trying to wrap all my last minute things up and anxiously awaiting the arrival of our car seat and hoping the other mama who had the birth tub before us has had a good birth in it (she was due the 2nd) - so we can have the tub here!

GOOD MORNING LADIES!!! Haven't read any of your responses yet, but I will!

Let's see... I'm mad about my contractions but you can read about that in my other post, lol.

Other than that... guess what my darling hubby did?? HE FORGOT MY SON!!! We had something to do yesterday that we couldn't take our son to, so he stayed over at Grandma's house. Hubs was SUPPOSED to pick him up on his way home from work this morning. But did he? NO!! He drove all the way home (45 mins from grandma's) before he realized what he did, lol. But my mom said to just let him stay there rather than making the extra trip and wasting unnecessary gas. So today's another kid free day. Woot I guess??

Yeah, I'm afraid other than that I'm boring, lol. Darn me!!

Well off to read your wonderful posts now!! Hope ya'll have a great day!! :

BTW... Anyone wanna clean my house? I'm here all alone KNOWING I should get to it. There are dishes to be washed, clutter to be uncluttered, but that's about it. I just can't seem to make myself do it, lol. I'm a lazy bum!!!

Oooh it's pretty quiet here today. I wonder if that means more babies are being born. :

I tripped over the neighbor's cat this afternoon... I posted a post about that and I am waiting a call from my OB's office to see if they want me to come in or not. I have also been getting facial numbness when I sit down. I'm assuming that my LO is just sitting on a nerve or something. Anyone had anything like that?

I have my 39 week appointment scheduled for tomorrow morning. We are all getting closer!!
Just got back from the MW appointment, and WOOHOO!!! GBS Negative!!! SUCH a relief! Of course, I also gained five pounds in two weeks (looks like it's all fluid too, my legs are now tree stumps), and my BP is ever so slightly elevated. She's not concerned though, said with the arm pain and all the sudden edema -- it just showed up this morning -- it's relatively normal. Said to call if the edema gets much worse in the next day or so, or if I start feeling really off. Baby girl is in a great position, everything looks wonderful! OH! And I think I'm starting to lose my mucus plug! Please, PLEASE by this weekend! Only because I do NOT want to go back to work on Monday. Terrible of me, isn't it?

Off to read the rest of the thread now...

Oh look, another soul mate for heidirk and I. Tell ya what, wanna switch houses? I always find it easier to clean when it's not my house.

Terrible, horrible, and evil. And awfully familiar sounding... : Congrats on the negative, by the way!

Morning ladies!!!

I think I've been losing mucus plug! It's very snot like, thicker than the EWCM of note when TTC and tinged yellow.... mucus plug like, right? Anyways, I wish I'd been turning on the light all night last night when I went to pee for confirmation, but (TMI) it at least felt the same slick gloppiness all night long as this morning when I could see. No big "plug" like chunks, but it's been consistent since last night. I sure hope it's plug cause that means changes are happening!!! I've been having more BH since yesterday too. They'd kind of dropped off my radar for a few weeks, I was having lots of cramping but no whole uterus BH tightenings. Well I went for a walk yesterday and they seem to be back! Nothing regular or even worth trying to time, but it's encouraging. I don't think I'm about to go into labor anytime soon, but I'm excited my body might be getting prepared.

Anyone totally spacey?! I've caught myself just sitting and brooding lately. Like, for an hour at a time just staring off into space brooding over things and then suddenly I kind of wake up and realize I've been sitting there for an hour or so. It's very weird.

Anyways, on the agenda today is laundry, cleaning the bathroom, and maybe, just maybe, mopping the kitchen and bathroom floors! Gasp! That'd be freakin amazing if it happened though!

Happy Wednesday to everyone!!!

No way! I'm having to force myself to clean today after a few days of not doing much of anything.. it's terrible, I have absolutely no desire to do ANYTHING. It's really hard to get up off the couch. And I really need to strip beds and wash bed clothes. Blah.

Well, I'm either joining the prodromal labour ladies or I'm having this baby sooner than I thought Been contracting on and off all day and they've been 1:5 for the last couple of hours. No mucous plug that I've noted, waters still intact and I can hold a relatively sentient conversation during them ... so think it's prob prodromal.

Off to watch Heroes ... a spot of Peter Petrelli ogling is in order.

YEA! Sounds great. Fair warning though, our guest bathroom is where the husbandperson bathes the dogs. I try not to pay any attention to that tub. Seriously though, why can't you be in Texas?!

On a slightly more serious note, I have a headache. I've had one off and on for several days now. No swelling to speak of, my blood pressure is as low as it's always been (100/70 typically) and everything else is fine. My head just hurts! I've been taking tylenol. Yeah yeah, but with me headaches go from twinges to full-out throbbing and nauseating in no time flat so I gotta do what I can to nip them in the bud. Luckily, half-doses work well for me. I'm wondering if this could be due to allergies. I've been sniffling/sneezing a little more, and I am in Texas and it is that time of year. Would y'all bother to tell your care provider about the headaches? I'm thinking that if I bust out my antihistamines (claritin - class b) it might just go away, and all will be well.

ETA: I'm relatively sure it's not dehydration, but have been upping my water intake just in case.

The other thing I'd suggest is eat a ton of protein and see if that helps. Otherwise, if everything else seems fine, I'd not make a special call to my CP b/c I always have had headaches. I'd do whatever you normally do (pg safe, of course ) and see if you can get it to go away. headaches suck!

I usually just lurk but thought I'd say hi... All you mamas are getting so close. I am only 36 weeks and half hoping for this one to be here this weekend (as long as she is ready) because that is when DS was born, and I have people watching me like a hawk. I don't know how I am going to handle waiting... I am already impatient and I could go another 5 weeks!

Yesterday, DS dropped a metal-edged photo frame into my La Bassine and punctured the inflatable bottom. DH repaired it last night but I was so upset and I burst into tears and DS didn't know what was going on. I rarely ever cry, I don't know that he's ever seen me cry yet.

Is anyone else having skin changes? I think things are definitely happening - I had bad skin in early pregnancy (nasty bacne lol) and this week I am starting to break out on my chin... a girl can hope, right?

My m/w checked me on Monday and I am 1.5cm, very soft, and 40-50% effaced and I'd done no walking that morning so baby was at a -3 (the head drops lower if I walk). I know that doesn't really mean anything, I could hit 4cm and stay there for 3 weeks

I then spotted red and pink CM (mostly EWCM but I've been having gluggy yellow EWCM for weeks now) for two days straight despite her being so gentle. I don't know if any of it was bloody show or not... don't quite know what to expect following a VE because I only had one with DS and then he was born less than 48 hours later. How can a bloody show be so confusing?

My mom is coming to help me clean tomorrow!!! I love her retirement LOL

Bella - I've been super emotional (though luckily nothing has happened to my birth tub! ) and getting a little acne on my chin too! It's hardly anything to even notice (the acne) but after having nothing all pregnancy it surprised me. Yeah for hormones!

The bathroom is clean!!! And the laundry is doing it's thing! : Gosh, I've been so productive today!
I just got home and I've already switched the laundry. Next on my list is cleaning the bathroom, then running the vacuum through the house. Yay for walking - maybe these contractions will turn into active labor!

Fireflyforever - I hope you're going into labor and not joining us with the prodromal - good luck!!! Also, you just gotta love Heroes. garrin and I are almost done with season 2 - watched it all since IGve been laboring - and we have season 3 so far DVRed.
