I just made my life SSOOOOO much easier!

I'm so excited and I know that you will all be able to relate (everyone else will think I'm a dork if I try to share my enthusiasm). For a year now, I've had to go upstairs and boot up the main network computer to print any invoices or shipping labels. I really have been hating that because it meant I had to leave my 2.5 year old downstairs unsupervised during that time (he's really starting to get into things, so I was freaking out).

Anyhoo....I just ordered and hooked up a cheapie HP compact printer to attach to my laptop. Now I can print all my invoices and labels right here in the dining room!

It's amazing how such small things in life can make a person's day, isn't it?

It's the little things that make all the difference

I try to minimize all the little extra stresses. It makes life so much easier. I no longer buy cheap things because I know they will break. I spend the $$ to get the better quality stuff.

I heard- that if you have a wireless network in your house (we do) that you can print through any printer in the house hooked up to any computer on the network, but I really can't figure out how to do that.

I've only "needed" that a few times, mostly I just think it would be funny to print something on someone else's computer while they're working on it. I can hear my daughter now "Mom, my computer's possessed"

Yeah, you can print on another printer in the house.....but, our other printer was hooked up to the upstairs computer. Plus, every time I wanted to print from my laptop downstairs, I had to make sure the main computer was turned on for it to work....plus it took FOREVER for some reason.

Gotta love technology!
