Fabulous! Went to the pedi this morning and everything went great. Nursing like a fiend and sleeping all the time. I've got my placenta dehydrating and part about to go in a smoothie right now. Can't WAIT for the cord stump to fall off. It sure makes diaper changes hard.

Oh I missed this thread before!
Nora's doing great too! She is fabulous. Her cord has fallen off, and she is nursing like a monster! Her jaundice is all but cleared up after a little scare (her levels were pretty darn high) and we are just enjoying each other so much!

Doing great. She had mild jaundice that seems to be clearing up and her umbilical stump fell off today. She's SUCH an easy baby. She only fusses if she needs something and once it's taken care of she's back to her mellow self. Nursing this baby has been a dream. My other two weren't such cooperative nursers until about 6 weeks. And nighttime is amazing. She slept from approx 12-5 the night before last without waking for a feed (and we're co-sleeping!). Last night was pretty much the same with a feeding around 2:30-3:00. She eats and goes right back to sleep.

We're doing well, but she has had a rough day or two, just like we all do. I cant believe she's over 3 weeks old now... we're approaching the 1 month mark! She's such a good baby. Except she always fusses for food RIGHT as I finished making my own lunch. Here's a pic of her from 2 days ago... holy pink overload!

Oliver is doing great, hard to believe that he would only be 38 weeks if he were still in my belly, sometimes I forget about that. I have another home visit set up for this coming Monday, and I can't wait to see how much weight he has gained. He sleeps most of the time, but does wake on his own to nurse about every 2 hrs at least. He does have this pattern about every night of liking to have "quiet awake time" in the middle of the night for about 1-1/2 hrs at a stretch...that is so fun, but also hard for me to stay awake for!! It is hard to tell his personality so far, but we THINK he is WAY different from his big bro, who insisted on crying lots and sleeping very little...we're keeping our fingers crossed!

Lilith is feeding like a champ and is up over her birthweight just short of her two week birthday! She had a bit of trouble with jaundice, and is now having some issues with goopy eyes (tear ducts aren't working well)...but other than that...she's a dream baby. She's very mellow and a champion nurser. She is also very awake for such a wee little thing and really looks at you when you talk..
She's chirping for a boob now...
