Black Cohosh anyone???

Hey there

My midwife told me to add black cohosh to my EPO regimen. I can't remember what the black cohosh is supposed to do though....preggo brain strikes again

Anyone know why I'm taking this?? LOL

I havent heard good things about black & blue cohosh. I would take castor oil before those 2 herbs. From what I remember reading they induce labor. Is that your intent?

Black cohosh is actually an anti-spasmodic herb so it basically negates any effect that blue cohosh might have. Its better to just use blue and stay away from the black.

Maybe taken together they kind of 'buffer' each other? Make each other safer?
