We are from FL, and we vacation in VA every Fall... we stay in Fancy Gap, and our usual places to go are Harvest Moon and the playground in Floyd, Mabry Mill, sight seeing along the Blue Ridge Prkwy and several favorite restaurants.
We'll be there next week.
Are there any other, must-see places in that area that we may have missed? ...oh and if there are any homeschool and/or toddler playgroups that meet in the area, we may be interested in joining (depending on when and where

I think we have been by there before... we'll have to stop again! We will miss the live music, but I do love local markets.
